It is no doubt that I adore color. I feel that color is an essential part of the wedding day, and one that is often over-looked during the planning process.
It is my desire to educate my clients in ways to start thinking of how to incorporate colors into their wedding day. With that in mind, I have started my very own weekly V&V Vivid Vows series. Once a week I will be posting specifically about adding color to your wedding. I will include my favorite vendors, photos, inspiration, tips, tricks and more along the way.
Did you know that every year Pantone chooses a color of the year? This started in 1999, as a way to name a color they feel will be a trendy color for the coming year, as well as describe the current state of feeling we have.
The color for 2020 is Classic Blue. According to Pantone, this color identifies a strong foundation, trustworthiness and dependability. It is a calming blue, reminding us that tomorrow is right around the corner.
Isn’t that a perfect reminder for right now? Many of you are currently worried about your weddings, dealing with the stress of finding a new date, rearranging with your vendors, and trying to stay calm.
How comforting it is to know that at the end of the day, you are surrounded by love and support. Soon this will be over, and another beautiful day is right around the corner waiting for you.
Will you be incorporating this color in your wedding? Do you agree with the color for the choice?
